RIP Marty Lindstrom... a true Marina Legend

Marty Lindstrom was a Marina legend. A bartender at the infamous Balboa cafe, Marty was your friend. I met him years ago when he was working at Balboa. He mentioned wanted to get out of the bartending business and had started his own bag company. We started working with Marty and he provided bags for our bridal salon. We became fast friends. You would never grow tired of his funny stories from the past and he'd always make you feel like a million bucks on any given day. He left us too soon although we know he's in a good place. The self proclaimed "world's nicest human" will surely be missed by his friends and Marina Family. RIP Marty, we love you.

I loved Marty too. I had a stroke on 8/4, and I just got out of the hospital last Friday, 8/7. Pauly from the Bus Stop told me Marty passed. I am still in shock.

Say, that's a nice pic of Marty. I'd like to use it for a piece I'm writing for the Marina Times. How can I make that happen?

Many thanks,
